Congratulations to Riverchase Kia in Birmingham, AL for being our January 2020 “Dealer Spotlight”! Riverchase Kia became a Skopos dealer in June, 2018, and was nominated by Business Development Manager, Derrick McFerrien, for achieving “Core” dealer status in 2019 and having their best funding month in November. Here’s what Derrick had to share when asked what it has been like working with Riverchase Kia:
"Riverchase Kia was my pick for the 'Dealer Spotlight' because they were new to the program but aggressive in the subprime space. The Finance Manager has worked in Georgia and Alabama and so has the General Manager. The two are well versed in how to put together these types of deals for their customers, and it makes for a great partnership."
To mark the event, Derrick asked Kiara Flannigan, Riverchase Kia’s F & I Manager, to revisit why she decided to try Skopos Financial.
"We started using Skopos because of Derrick. He is always ready and available to help us with anything we need."
We pride ourselves on the service we provide, and having the best reps in the business is a key ingredient to fulfilling our commitment to make tough deals easy; however, we know situations sometimes arise with a deal (or multiple deals) that require out-of-the box thinking. Here is what Kiara had to say when asked about her experience working with Skopos to overcome obstacles.
"Skopos makes working with self-employed borrowers' and the POI requirement much easier by allowing us to use personal and business bank statements. They've also been very easy to work with in terms of structure. It's a win-win because they get our business and we are still able to make a profit as a dealership. Skopos understands our needs and our business."
To wrap things up, Derrick wanted to know what Kiara would say to other dealers, who are signed up with Skopos, but not actively working with us.
"Start!!! You are missing a lot of great opportunities to save a deal, as well as make one happen."
